For the welfare of the students, all children who are sick or running a fever must not come to school. This is done as a safety measure for the student body as well as the staff. In like manner, if a child is at school and has a temperature of more than 1 degree above normal, regurgitates for any reason other than physical activity, and/or shows any other sign of illness, parents/guardians will be asked to come and take the child home.  When the child has been fever free for 24 hours and is well enough to participate in a normal school day, the child may return to school.  School policy requires a teacher who reasonably suspects that a student or employee has a communicable disease to notify the administration for immediate action.
